Christmas in Newcastle

This year has flown by and I can't quite believe that it's already time for the Christmas festivities to begin.

You know it's that time of year again when Fenwick's unveil their Christmas window display. Never failing to impress, this year's Fairy Tale Forest theme goes above and beyond all expectations.

Attracting hundreds, even hearing the magical music is enough to get you feeling festive.

And if this isn't enough, the Newcastle Continental Christmas Market will be.

The Continental Market brings us gourmet ingredients giving you a real taste of Europe.

Offering you every imaginable flavour of fudge, from Irn Bru to Jammy Dodger...

With French crepes, German beer, Spanish Paella and so much more, there is almost too much choice.

A day in Newcastle

Last week, our photographer Roo Lewis came up to Newcastle to follow a day in the life of the Newcastle Seasonnaires. We took him to key locations around the city and campus where he captured Rory and I doing every day activities.

From the Quayside to Jam Jar in Jesmond, we covered all aspects of University life for Newcastle students.

GLADRAGS RAG Fashion Show 2013

Newcastle University's GLADRAGS RAG Fashion Show 2013 was bigger and better than ever.

In association with the charity Smartypants who aim to fight against cancer, the event couldn't have been for a better cause.

 Jack Wills were proud sponsors of this years Charity Fashion Show providing a large range of their new collection. Showing off this seasons must haves to an audience of over 300, the fashion show was a great way to promote the brand.

The night was a huge success and raised awareness and money for such a worthwhile charity.

Bastille

On Wednesday, I headed up to Edinburgh's Picturehouse to finally watch Bastille in concert.
As a huge fan from the start, I have had Bastilles album on repeat for what seems like forever.

I had been told my many people how amazing Bastille are live, but I had never imagined them to be quite as good as they were.

Well worth the wait and living up to all expectations, they were literally incredible.

Words cannot explain how talented the main singer Dan is, his voice sounded exactly the same as it does in the album. 

Make sure you see Bastille live at some point, I promise you they will not let you down.
